Know what is being agreed
Confirm the metal and fineness, stone identity, dimensions, construction and quoted price. Ask which written details and documents are available for your chosen piece rather than assuming every design carries the same certification.
Metal and construction
Ask about fineness, hollow or solid sections, metal thickness and the joining method. A design image cannot establish these properties.
Stone and setting
Confirm the stone identity and any disclosed treatment. Look for secure prongs or bezels, protected tips and practical mounting height.
Closures and fit
Check bracelet locks, bangle hinges, earring posts and chain clasps. Consider inner diameter, wrist size and weight distribution.
Written specification
Before committing, confirm the design, materials, dimensions, quotation and any applicable sale terms in writing.
